Bermuda STEAM Foundation Summer Camp

Service Description

The Bermuda S.T.E.A.M. Academy Summer Camp will provide an opportunity for your child to expand skills in rich, powerful STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture and Mathematics) learning experiences. We will offer challenging hand-on projects and career exploration to inspire your child to develop a sustainable interest in various career fields. Our staff will consist of experienced teachers from the Bermuda Public School system. Our safety procedures are in alignment with the latest guidance from the Department of Health. Here are some of the guidelines: Individual and spaced-out activities to practice safe physical distancing, and also limiting the sharing of supplies. Ample access to hand washing and hand sanitation stations, especially at check-in, before meals, and after restroom use. Staff intentionally teach and encourage good hand hygiene, respiratory etiquette, and follow a strict sick child/staff policy. Significant disinfecting of supplies and activity areas throughout the day. Check-in procedures include a daily temperature check for children prior to entry. Children who have a temperature of more than 100ºF will not be allowed to stay at camp. A packed lunch as the campers will not be allowed to leave the premises once they are checked in.
